Many people plan to celebrate the New Year at home, but you shouldn’t spend the holiday eating delicacies and watching music programs. Organize a fun celebration for the whole family with competitions and gifts, because the Fire Monkey loves noise and fun.

The family can take part in the New Year interesting competitions. If the holiday has just begun and everyone is full of energy, then it is better to give preference to fun and active games.

This competition is best held when everyone is full and a little tired. You need to prepare two containers in advance. Place packages with names in one bowl and wishes for the New Year in another. It's very funny to watch how men shake their hips, trying to get into the throat.

"Pea"

This competition is for men and women, children can also participate. The presenter sets up chairs and places some objects on the seats. It could be bananas, apples, oranges or something else. All participants are blindfolded and asked to sit on a chair. The task of the contestants is to find out by the “fifth point” what lies on the seat. You cannot touch the object with your hands.

The owner of the item must follow the instructions.

Games for the family for the New Year of the Monkey

Spend your holiday in the game, monkeys simply love fun and games. The more active the game is, the better.

"Let's dress up"

This interesting game will delight children and adults. You need to split into two teams. Each team is given a box with a set of clothes. One of the participants must put all the things from the box on his partner, and his eyes must be blindfolded before the competition. It's not easy to put on pants blindfolded. As a result, you will get a funny character with a shirt on his feet and trousers on his head.

Game "Monkey"

A leader is selected for the game. He speaks the animal into the ear of each family member. Now all team members stand in a circle and join hands. Turn on the music and ask participants to dance in a circle. The presenter says the name of the animal. In this case, the person to whom this word was wished must sit down sharply. The neighbors' task is to hold his hands and not allow him to sit down. After all the animals have been named, the presenter wishes a monkey in the ear of each participant. The company again dances in a circle, and the leader says “Monkey.” Now it's all about reflexes. Someone will sit down, and someone will try to lift their neighbor.

Game "Masquerade"

You need to prepare a bag with funny clothes and accessories. A beard, a hat with earflaps, shorts, a sweatshirt and other interesting clothes will do. The host turns on the music, and all participants dance and pass each other a bag of surprises. When the music stops, the participant who has the bag in his hands must take clothes out of it (no peeking) and put them on himself. The game continues until the bag is empty. A woman with a beard or a man in a skirt looks funny.

"New Year's Tale"

For this game you need to take any children's fairy tale from the shelf. It could be “Kolobok” or “Turnip”. Distribute roles between guests. It is necessary that each contestant make a certain sound. For example, the door should creak and the cockerel should crow. The presenter reads the text, and the characters mentioned in it must make characteristic sounds.

Game "Don't Oversleep"

At the beginning of the holiday, each participant must receive a package with the exact time and task. It is advisable not to take long breaks between performances. If there are few people at the holiday, then you can give the contestants a few packages. In the middle of the holiday, the participant must get up at the specified time and complete the task or say the specified phrase. A very unexpected and funny competition.

Holidays with family on New Year's Eve 2016

Of course, it is better to plan a vacation in advance, which will become a fulfillment of desires. If you have some extra money, you can book a tour to some warm country and spend the New Year with a foreign flavor. The most affordable for our compatriots are trips to Turkey and Egypt. But you can also have a good rest in Russia. To do this, you can go to Karelia, the Volga or Krasnaya Polyana.

But if you don’t have a vacation or haven’t been able to save money for a trip during the year, you can have a fun New Year with your family. Drink champagne with your family and go on a visit or to christmas tree. Large parks often host mass celebrations with fun competitions and guest stars. Don't want to go anywhere? In this case, we celebrate the New Year with our family at home.

Write a script with fun competitions and games. Don't forget about family traditions on New Year's Day. Prepare fun music for competitions and prizes. You don't have to spend a lot of money to have a happy and fun holiday. The main thing is to approach the organization of fun with enthusiasm. Consider the wishes and characteristics of each family member. Analyze what your children love and what they can get excited about.

Games for the family for the New Year 2016:
  1. Competition "Egg". For this competition, hard boil eggs. You need as many eggs as there are participants. The presenter gives each contestant one egg and says that among them there is one raw egg, although in fact all of them are boiled. Participants must break eggs on their forehead. The tension increases with each broken egg.
  2. Game "Candy". Suitable for adults and children. It is necessary to tie the candies to threads in advance and hang them on chairs. Contestants, one at a time, must try to cut off the candies with scissors with their eyes closed. Other guests may give incorrect advice in finding candy.
  3. Game "Animals in Love". Each participant is given a wish for an animal - a pig, a rooster or a dog. In this case, it is necessary that two competitors catch one sound. At the command of the host, all guests begin to make the specified sounds. Each of the participants must find their pair in this noise. That is, a pig, a rooster or a dog.

Competitions for children for the New Year 2016

The entertainment program depends on how many children there are in the family and what age they are. For children under three years old, you can organize a baby shower. Invite Santa Claus, but it's best if you become him for a while. At the same time, you don’t need to just give gifts to children. It is necessary that the child deserves his toy.

Outdoor competitions

You can have a fun time on New Year's Eve in the park or near the Christmas tree if you take a sled with you. It is best if parents and children split into teams of 2 people. You need to find a slide and sit on the sled with your backs to each other. The goal is to get down the hill as quickly as possible. Parents will also have a lot of fun and remember their childhood.

For the next competition you need to make a snowman. A bucket is placed on the hero's head. Or a bottle. The competition is to knock the bucket off the snowman's head. Whichever child completes the task receives a prize. You can use toys or sweets as a prize.

Competitions at home

You can have a lot of fun in the house with children:
  1. "Labyrinth". Children love to dance and sing. Outdoor games can be organized. Even kids will find it interesting to navigate the labyrinth. Build narrow passages from New Year's tinsel, the width of which is 10 cm. It is necessary that the baby walk through the narrow passages without stepping on the fences.
  2. "Pantomime". The Pantomime competition is very popular among children. You just need to say a three-word sentence in your child’s ear. The child should depict what was said, and adults should try to guess what they are talking about based on their movements.
  3. "Mosaic". You need to prepare pieces of colorful fruits in advance. Cut the fruits into slices, cubes and triangles. Two children participate in the competition. It is desirable that they are approximately the same age. In front of each child, you need to place two dishes: one with fruit, and the second empty. Kids must assemble a portrait of Santa Claus from the pieces of fruit they receive. Whoever gets the best portrait gets sweets.
  4. Competition for girls "Hairdresser". The “victims” sit on chairs. At the command of the presenter, the girls must do hairstyles for clients using elastic bands, hairpins and combs. Whoever gets the most creative hairstyle wins.
  5. Game "Ribbons". The game requires three participants. Two of them are given ribbons. They must tie bows on the third blindfolded participant. Once all the ribbons are on the model, you need to untie the bows, but now you cannot use your hands.

Remember, spending the New Year with your family is a happiness that not everyone has. Make every effort to ensure that the holiday does not become boring.

The most wonderful and long-awaited holiday is approaching - the New Year. Everyone knows that 2016 is the year of the monkey. Are you ready to greet him in a special way? The competitions we offer for the New Year 2016, New Year's games and entertainment, will easily make this New Year's Eve the brightest and most fun of your life. Every competition and every game is a mini performance. So get ready to play it all New Year's Eve!

Well, you should start your new year with such a cool video clip about the new year 2016 - the year of the monkey:

This video clip can be used as a congratulation for your guests.

Now let's get acquainted with the list of entertainment.
The first game to play is called "list of 16". And now you will understand why it is called that. Guests need to split into several teams. Each team must come up with exactly 16 things and objects that can be hung on the New Year tree. But the main thing is that all these invented things and objects should begin only with letters from the word - MONKEY. Whoever comes up with the funniest and funniest list wins.

Now let's determine the best monkey of all times. And for this you need to call two men. One will play the role of Tarzan. And the second role is King Kong. They will have three mini competitions.
First mini competition.
They have to make their scream or roar or whatever monkeys do. Whoever comes up with the funniest game and pleases the guests gets the first point.
Second mini competition.
Tarzan and King Kong turn to face each other. First, Tarzan does something, like showing how he brushes his teeth. And then King Kong repeats these movements after him. Then King Kong shows something of his own, for example, how he wakes up. And Tarzan repeats all his movements. The main thing is that you need to repeat it funny, introducing your own movements and elements for laughter. Whoever shows the other one more fun is the winner of this mini competition.
Third mini competition.
It's just a dance. Although no, it’s not easy. Select songs from different genres and let our monkeys dance. Whoever shows the most original dance wins this duel.
Afterwards, points are calculated for winning mini-competitions.

The next game is for everyone. Everyone knows the fable “the monkey and the glasses.” So you need to buy or make more different funny glasses. And also prepare wigs and other funny things. Everyone comes out and forms a circle. And we put all the things in a bag. Music sounds and the bag is passed around. When the music stops, who has the bag? He takes one thing out of it. He takes it out and puts it on himself. And so on until the bag is empty. When everyone is dressed up, you can have wild dances!

And finally, a competition with monkeys. And guests will act as monkeys! You need to prepare in advance photographs of monkeys where they make their faces. Place the photographs on a tray so that the monkeys are not visible. Each guest takes turns choosing any photo, turning it over and applying it to his face. And he must portray the same face, excuse me, the same face as a monkey. Here are examples.

There is not much time left before the New Year 2016. For this reason, if you want his meeting to be bright and memorable, you should now think through all the competitions for the New Year 2016 for fun company. Thanks to such fun competitions, your guests will definitely not fall asleep at the table immediately after the President’s New Year’s address ends, but will take their minds off drinking alcoholic beverages and eating salads for a while.

So, we offer you interesting and fun competitions. Some of them are humorous, others require a very serious approach from the participants. But all of them - good entertainment at home in the year of the monkey, which you can even film on video if you wish. Next, we will offer a detailed scenario for each competition. But no one forbids introducing your own original ideas into it.

Build a snow woman

If weather conditions permit, you can invite guests to go outside to play. The players (ideally, all of them should be male) are divided into several teams, which must make a snow woman faster than others.

The owners of the apartment in which the New Year 2016 (Year of the Monkey) celebration will take place will have to dress up as Father Frost and the Snow Maiden and, after all the guests sit down at the festive table, announce to them that a New Year's gift awaits each of them. However, only educated people can get it. Next, guests are invited to play a game called “Alphabet”. Father Frost or Snow Maiden calls the first letter “A”. The task of the other players is to come up with a New Year's greeting that begins with this letter. And so on alphabetically. Each player who comes up with such a greeting is given a souvenir. Especially funny game becomes when they reach the letters E, Y, b, b.

Box with gifts

In the far corner of the room where the New Year 2016 celebration will take place, a box is placed that has a top, but does not have a bottom. If desired, you can somehow decorate it and write “Happy Holidays!!!” on it. The inside of such a box should be filled with confetti. The most important condition of this competition is that the box is located as high as possible. Preferably on the closet. When one of the guests enters the room, he is told that there is a gift for him on the closet. He removes the box and, naturally, is showered from head to toe with confetti.

Decorate the Christmas tree

To carry out of this competition you will need a small ball of ribbon, garland, tinsel. The roles of the Christmas trees will be performed by female persons. In one hand, each of them will hold one end of the garland or ribbon. Males, without touching their hands, take the other end of the ribbon or garland with their teeth and wrap it around their “Christmas tree.” The one with the most elegant Christmas tree wins. Or the one who dresses her up faster than the rest.

Several couples take part in this New Year's competition. It is better if they are all family. Each of them will need to be blindfolded. Then take several pins (for example, seven) and pin them on their clothes. Then the competition itself begins. The first couple to remove all the pins from each other's clothes wins. It is important that this process proceeds slowly and with romantic music. But, in fact, the winner will be the couple that is the first to guess what the catch is. And it lies in the fact that there may be fewer pins on a man’s clothes than on a woman’s clothes, and vice versa. But, as a rule, they do not understand this right away. Therefore, from the viewer’s side, the process looks very, very interesting.

Mittens and buttons

Two pairs are called. Males receive warm winter mittens. Having put them on their hands, they will have to fasten as many buttons as possible on a robe or shirt, which are put on over the clothes of their competition partners, within a certain period of time.

New Year's wishes competition

Five participants are called. And each of them takes turns naming a New Year’s wish. The one who thinks for more than five seconds is considered the loser.

The hat contains several small pieces of paper on which one word each related to the New Year is written (for example, “Santa Claus”, “Christmas tree”, “icicle”, “Snow Maiden”, “gifts”). Each participant pulls out a piece of paper and sings a song that contains the written word.

Each player is given a nickname. For example, “lollipop”, “garland”, “cracker”, “flashlight”, snowdrift” and so on. The presenter approaches each person in turn and asks a question:

What are we celebrating today?

Lollipop.

What's on your nose?

Garland.

And everything like that. Each participant has the right to answer questions exclusively under his “name”, which can be declined accordingly. In this case, the respondent is prohibited from laughing. The one who laughs first is eliminated.

Mask, I know you

The presenter puts a mask on the player. The player is then asked various questions to which he can receive hints. For example:

Is this a bird?

Human?

Animal?

Homemade?

Does it bark?

The winner can be given the mask itself as a prize.

Poetry competition "Burim"

For this competition, several cards are prepared in advance on which rhymes for New Year's poems are written. They are distributed to guests at the beginning of the holiday. Rhymes can be very different. Everyone must compose a poem with given rhymes. The winner is determined during the presentation of gifts.

Telegram to Santa Claus

Guests will need to name thirteen adjectives, which are written down by the host in order. After they are named, the presenter takes out the text of the telegram to Santa Claus (it must be composed in advance, having prepared 13 places where adjectives can be inserted) and inserts the words. It turns out very funny.

Dancing with a ball

Each pair receives a ball, places it between them and tries to hold it with their bodies. As a result of body movements, a kind of dance is obtained.

childish and not so childish :)

Happy New Year 2016!

New Year's competition "Mummy"

Four volunteers are called, two teams are made up of them, and more can be called. One of the players in each team is a “mummy”, and the second is a “mumiator”.
Game: the “mummifier” must wrap the “mummy” with “bandages” as quickly as possible. Toilet paper is usually used as bandages. Crowd fun guaranteed! After winding, you can perform the reverse operation by winding the paper back into the roll.

The participant who keeps the “snowflake” in the air the longest wins.

Competition "Tomato"

Two people are called. They stand facing each other on opposite sides of the same stool. The presenter places a banknote on a stool and announces that on the count of “one, two, three...” “Whoever puts his hand on the bill first wins (for more excitement, the bill can be given to the winner). Further, the task becomes more complicated: a new bill is placed, the players are blindfolded (blindfolded, they check whether it is in place) and on the count of “one, two, three...” they unanimously clap their hand on ... the tomato, which during the counting the presenter put instead of the bill .

Competition "Twins"

people approach each other and hug with one hand (one takes the partner’s waist with his right hand, the other with his left) It turns out that each of them has one free hand. Then they are given a task that they must complete as if it were two hands of one person. For example, cut out a shape. The first participant holds a sheet of paper with his left hand and guides it correctly, and with the second right hand he cuts it with scissors. I like the following version of the task better: lace up the shoe, put it in a box, pour flour from the bag into a jar, close it with a lid, put it back in the box, close the box and tie it with a ribbon. For successful completion of the task, 2 candies are given.

"There are Christmas trees"

We decorated the Christmas tree different toys, and in the forest there are different kinds of fir trees, wide, low, tall, thin.
The host, Santa Claus, explains the rules:
Now if I say
“high” – raise your hands up

“wide” – make the circle wider
“thin” - make a circle narrower.
Now let's play! (Santa Claus plays, trying to confuse the children)

"Telegram to Santa Claus"

The guys are asked to name 13 adjectives: “fat”, “red-haired”, “hot”, “hungry”, “lethargic”, “dirty”, etc. When all the adjectives are written down, the presenter takes out the text of the telegram and inserts into it the missing adjectives from the list.
Telegram text:
“... Grandfather Frost!
All... children are looking forward to your... arrival.
New Year is the most... holiday of the year.
We will sing for you... songs, dance... dances!
It's finally coming... New Year!
How I don’t want to talk about... studying.
We promise that we will only receive... grades.
So, quickly open your... bag and give us... gifts.
With respect to you... boys and... girls!

Christmas decorations

The guys and I will play an interesting game:
I will tell the kids what we decorate the Christmas tree with.
Listen carefully and be sure to answer,
If we tell you correctly, say “Yes” in response.
Well, if suddenly it’s wrong, boldly say “No!”
- Multi-colored firecrackers?
— Blankets and pillows?
— Folding beds and cribs?
— Marmalades, chocolates?
— Glass balls?
— Are the chairs wooden?
- Teddy bears?
- Primers and books?
- Are the beads multi-colored?
— Are the garlands light?
- Snow made from white cotton wool?
- Satchels and briefcases?
- Shoes and boots?
— Cups, forks, spoons?
— Are the candies shiny?
— Are tigers real?
— Are the cones golden?
— Are the stars radiant?

Decorate the Christmas tree

They make several Christmas decorations made of cotton wool (apples, pears, fish) with wire hooks and a fishing rod with the same hook. You need to use a fishing rod to hang all the toys on the Christmas tree, and then use the same fishing rod to remove them. The winner is the one who manages to do this in a set time, for example in two minutes. A fir branch mounted on a stand can serve as a Christmas tree.

Tangerine football

They play on the table, each “player” is the index and middle finger of one of the children, the ball is a tangerine.

Catch a snowball

The game involves two teams. One child from each team has an empty bag in his hands, which he holds wide open. Each team has several paper snowballs. At the signal, everyone begins to throw snowballs into the bag, and partners also help, trying to catch them. The winner is the team whose package contains more snowballs.

Trap

In the game, the leader is chosen - the Snowman or Santa Claus. Having run away from the leader, the children stop and, clapping their hands, say: “One-two-three! One-two-three! Well, hurry up and catch us!” When the text ends, everyone runs away. The snowman (Santa Claus) is catching up with the children.

Snowball

Redemption of New Year's prizes from Santa Claus's bag can be arranged as follows.
In a circle, both adults and children pass a specially prepared “snowball” made of cotton wool or white fabric.
“Kom” is passed on and Santa Claus says:
We're all rolling a snowball,
We all count to five -
One, two, three, four, five -
Sing a song for you.
Or:
And read poetry for you.
Or:
You should dance a dance.
Or:
Let me tell you a riddle...
The person who redeems the prize leaves the circle, and the game continues.

Newton's law

Game: Two bottles are placed in front of two players, each is given 10 peas. The task is to, at the leader’s signal, without bending (arms at chest level), drop peas into the bottle from above.
The participant who throws the most peas into the bottle wins.

Mousetrap

The two tallest participants or two adults stand and join hands. They hold their hands up (like a mini round dance) and say:
“We were so tired of the mice, they chewed everything, ate everything. Let’s set up a mousetrap and catch all the mice.”
The remaining participants - mice - run between the hands of the catchers. At the last words, hands give up, the “mousetrap” slams shut, and whoever is caught joins the catchers. The mousetrap gets bigger and the game repeats. The last mouse wins.

We answer in chorus

A game of attentiveness. We answer yes or no. It turns out pretty funny.
Everyone knows Santa Claus, right?
He comes up with exactly that, right?
Santa Claus is a good old man, right?
Wears a hat and galoshes, right?
Santa Claus will come soon, right?
He will bring gifts, right?
The trunk is good for our Christmas tree, right?
It was cut down with a double-barreled shotgun, right?
What grows on the Christmas tree? Bumps, right?
Tomatoes and gingerbread, right?
Well, our Christmas tree is beautiful, right?
There are red needles everywhere, right?
Santa Claus is afraid of the cold, right?
He is friends with the Snow Maiden, right?

The closer winter gets, the closer the most beloved and long-awaited holiday called New Year. The coming 2016 is the year of the monkey. This means that we all need to make faces, have fun and be like a monkey. Many won’t even have to try, since they are just like monkeys. And someone will have to work hard to please the monkey, the symbol of 2016. The competitions we offer for the New Year 2016 and New Year's games and entertainment will help you spend New Year's Eve 100 and even 200 percent. See all our ideas, bring them to life, and let the year of the monkey be remembered by you forever.

1 competition.
Everyone knows that monkeys love to make faces. And everyone knows that man descended from a monkey. And the first competition will return us, people, to our distant ancestors. The essence of the competition is to show faces like monkeys. And for this you need to prepare cards with images of monkey faces. Place all the cards on a tray so that the images are at the bottom. Each guest in turn takes out one card, places it on his face so that everyone can see the image, and must make the same face himself. Whoever gets the most similar and funniest face wins.
Examples for the competition:

Competition 2.
Everyone, or almost everyone, has seen and knows the cartoon where one mother monkey is constantly trying to look after a bunch of her little monkeys. And at the same time she still has to do household chores. And this cartoon gives us a second competition. Girls participate in the competition. They put funny monkey masks on their faces. And each mother has three children - men or boys. “Children” sit at chairs. And there are tables in front of the mothers. There are five bananas on the tables. Moms' task is to peel the bananas, cut them and make a banana salad. That is, add yogurt to the chopped bananas. And then use a small spoon to feed your “children.” Whichever mom can do it faster wins.

Competition 3.
Next, you can hold a team competition. That is, divide the guests into several teams. Each team must come up with their own “list of 16”. This “list of 16” is a list of 16 things that can be hung on a Christmas tree. And since 2016 is the year of the monkey, everything must begin with the letter - O. Each team is given exactly 2 minutes. After that, one person from each team comes out and reads out their list. Whoever turns out to be funnier and more interesting brings victory to his team.

And don’t forget to watch for you and your guests. Stage skits and let them give you moments of joy and wild laughter.

Competition 4.
In our opinion, the most famous monkeys are: King Kong and Tarzan. And in this competition we need two men. One will be Tarzan and the other King Kong. It would be even better if the men were dressed appropriately.
Men go on stage and their task is to compete in the same exercises. First, they both have to make their signature screams. Tarzan screams in his own way, and King Kong screams in his own way, just like in the movies.
Then they can compete in gaits. You can, for example, moonwalk like Michael Jackson.
Next, you can eat bananas for speed. Five bananas each. They clean them and eat them. Whoever is first wins.
And finally, you can arrange a dance competition. Include different melodies and different styles. Whoever dances better and more original wins.
And then the audience will choose one winner.

Competition 5.
What is the most famous fable? That's right - “monkey and glasses.” So our guests will be monkeys. All that remains is to buy more funny glasses. False mustaches and so on. We put all this in a bag. The first participant goes off stage. There they put on funny glasses, a false mustache and a wig. In general, they apply makeup. When he is dressed, any music for dancing is played and the participant goes on stage. On stage he must dance in this outfit. And so does every participant. Then the audience determines the winner of the competition by applause.
