Handmade soap heart. Handmade soap in the shape of a heart Heart soap recipes from a soap base

There are a lot of options for creating a romantic heart soap. Of course, there are also special shapes for soap that look like a heart. But today we invite you to make a very simple heart soap for Valentine’s Day - “ Two halves«.

In fact, these are two soaps united by one idea, but each of them looks very nice on its own. They are easy to make even for beginners! Give such a gift to your soulmate: your beloved husband or boyfriend. He will certainly appreciate such an original handmade Valentine's card!

Ingredients:

  • about 240 grams white soap base,
  • about 80 grams of transparent soap base,
  • ylang-ylang essential oil,
  • “Yoghurt” flavoring (or any other),
  • red dye ( non-migratory),
  • plastic or silicone mold (rectangular or square),
  • alcohol (regular medical or salicylic).

Take half of the white base and cut it into pieces. Place them in a plastic bowl and microwave to melt.

When the base is completely melted, add 3-4 drops of essential oil and fragrance into it and stir well. Pour the liquid base into the mold - soap bubbles from the surface can be removed by sprinkling alcohol on them. Wait until it hardens well. But don't leave the soap in the mold for too long! In this case, cutting out the middle will be more difficult later.

Take out the soap and cut out the middle in the shape of half a heart. This can easily be done using a sharp knife and attaching a cardboard template of the desired shape to the soap. But it is much easier to make a recess using a piece of ordinary soft tin. Bend the tin, giving it the shape of half a heart, attach it to the soap and press. Place the soap back into the mold. The cut piece, of course, does not need to be thrown away. You can re-cut and re-melt it by adding it to the second part of the soap.

Using a toothpick, scrape the inside of the soap, which will later come into contact with the colored red part (shown with an arrow in the photo), and spray it with alcohol. This is necessary so that the layers adhere well and the soap does not fall apart when used.

Now take half transparent base and also cut it into pieces and melt it in the microwave.

Add 1-2 drops of essential oil and fragrance. Color the base with dye. Again We strongly recommend using non-migrating pigments for coloring soap. Do not take
